FrontHouse FrontHouse

Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Haputa LLC ("FrontHouse", "we", "us") makes FrontHouse, software that food vendors use to take orders, run a kitchen display, and send loyalty messages. This policy explains how we handle personal information. It covers two groups of people: vendors, who are our customers and the businesses that subscribe to FrontHouse, and end customers, who are the people who order food from those vendors.

When an end customer orders from a vendor, the vendor decides why that order is collected. FrontHouse processes the order on the vendor's behalf. This policy describes both roles in plain language so either person can see what we hold.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Vendor account information

When a vendor signs up we collect the owner's name, email address, and business name, and the names and email addresses of staff the owner invites. We also store the password in a form we cannot read back, and a record of when each person signed in.

2.2 Billing information

Subscription payments are handled by LemonSqueezy, our Merchant of Record. LemonSqueezy collects the payment card and the billing address. We do not store card numbers. We keep the subscription status, the plan, and the invoices LemonSqueezy reports to us, so the owner can see whether the account is paid.

2.3 End-customer information

On a vendor's behalf we collect the phone number a customer uses to order, the contents of the order, the history of orders and visits, and the status of any loyalty reward. The phone number is the customer's account. We do not ask the customer to create a password or download an app.

2.4 Payment information

Food payments are handled by Stripe on the vendor's own Stripe account. The customer enters card details with Stripe. We do not store card numbers. We store the fact that an order was paid, the amount, and a reference Stripe gives us so the vendor can match the order to the payout.

2.5 Device and usage data

When someone uses the vendor dashboard, the kitchen display, or the kiosk, we collect ordinary technical data: the kind of device and browser, rough location derived from the IP address, pages or screens viewed, and the time of the visit. We use this to keep the account secure and to see which parts of the product fail.

2.6 Messages

We keep the content of texts sent to and from FrontHouse numbers. That includes text orders a customer writes in plain language. An AI service provider may process a text order so we can turn it into items and a total. The provider is contracted to process the message for that purpose and not to use it to market to the customer.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to provide FrontHouse. That means creating and securing vendor accounts, showing the menu, taking orders, sending them to the kitchen display, and marking them ready. We send transactional texts and loyalty rewards on behalf of the vendor the customer ordered from. We use billing records to know whether a subscription is active. We use account and device data to answer support requests, to detect misuse, and to fix and improve the service.

We do not use a customer's phone number to advertise other vendors' businesses, and we do not build a marketing audience from people who ordered food.

4. SMS and Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Texts are limited to the order and the loyalty reward that order earned: confirmations, payment links, ready notices, and reward notices. A customer can reply STOP to opt out. Messages come from a shared FrontHouse number, so STOP stops texts from every FrontHouse vendor, not only the one the customer last ordered from. Reply START to receive messages again. Reply HELP for help, or email support@fronthouseos.com.

5. How We Share Information

We share an end customer's order with the vendor they ordered from. That vendor can see the phone number, the items, and the visit history for their own location. We do not show one vendor another vendor's customers.

We share information with service providers that run FrontHouse under contract: LemonSqueezy for the subscription, Stripe for food payments, Twilio to deliver text messages, an AI provider to read text orders, and the companies that host the application and send our own email. They may use the information only to perform that work for us.

We also share information when the law requires it, such as a valid court order, and if Haputa LLC is sold or merged, in which case the buyer would take on this same policy or give you notice of a new one. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Data Security

We protect accounts with encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and access limited to the people who operate the service. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure. If we learn of a breach that affects your personal information, we will notify the people the law requires us to notify.

7. Data Retention

We keep financial records, including subscription invoices and records of food payments, for 7 years. We keep the content of text messages for 18 months and then redact it, so the words of the text are no longer stored, while the vendor can still see that an order happened. If a vendor closes their account, we anonymize that vendor's customer data within 90 days, unless a longer period is required for the financial records above or for a legal claim that is already open.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Vendors can update their account from the dashboard and can email support@fronthouseos.com for anything the dashboard does not cover. End customers can make the same requests to us, and they can also contact the vendor they ordered from, because that vendor controls the customer record.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to correct it. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To use them, email support@fronthouseos.com. We will verify the request before we act on it.

9. Children's Privacy

FrontHouse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The product is a tool for a food business and the adults who order from it. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email support@fronthouseos.com and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. The date at the top will change when we do. If a change materially reduces a vendor's or a customer's rights, we will email vendor account owners before the change applies. Continued use of FrontHouse after that date means the updated policy applies.
